There is strong buzz that that veteran director Mani Ratnam’s recent directorial venture “Ok Bangaram”, the hit romantic drama starring Nithya menon and Dulquer Salmaan will soon get remade in Bollywood.
Former associate of Mani Ratnam, Shaad Ali, who earlier remade “Sakhi” in Hindi as “Saathiya”, will direct the Hindi remake of “Ok Bangaram”. As per sources, after approaching many actors, finally the makers have settled for Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shradda Kapoor, whose Chemistry in “Aashiqui 2” was stunning.
Post ‘Aashiqui 2’, the on-screen love birds are rumored to be off-screen love birds too. They Share terrific chemistry and it will be much helpful for the theme of the Movie, an intense romantic drama.
A big production house will back this project. Shooing is expected to commence early next year.
