After Afridi, Clarke Comes out of Retirement

Former Test captain of Australian team Michael Clarke has announced that he was returning to Cricket after announcing his retirement six months ago.

It seems that the 34-year-old Australian cricketer got inspired by Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afiridi, who came out of retirement several times in the past. Announcing retirement and making comebacks is very common for Afridi.

Calrke told Australian media that he has some unfinished business in the shorter form of the game (T20). “I’ve realized the game of cricket is in my blood. I’ve been looking for an Outlet to replace what I’ve chosen to walk away from,” added one of the outstanding batsmen of his generation. He wants to try his luck T20 format of the game.

Clarke had announced his retirement from all formats of the game in August last year after the disastrous Ashes series in England.
