After acting with Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal in ‘Jilla’, now it is heard that Vijay is making plans to join hands with another Malayalam superstar Mammootty in his new Film.
Tentatively titled Vijay 61, this project will be helmed by ‘Thani Oruvan’ fame Mohan Raja. As per Industry sources, Mohan Raja has already approached Mammootty for the collaboration. However, the project is still in nascent stage so nothing concrete can be said as of now. It is heard that Mammootty too showed interest but asked for bound script from Raja.
If materializes, this project will be a big one due to the superstardom of the actors in Tamil and Malayalam. Mohan Raja will start this project after finishing his new film with Sivakarthikeyan.
Meanwhile Vijay is busy wrapping up Theri. Directed by Atlee, the film has Vijay playing a powerful cop. The First Look poster has already raised curiosity levels. Samantha and Amy Jackson are playing leading ladies in this action entertainer. After this, Vijay will be working with director Bharathan for his 60th film and then will move on to project with Mammootty.
