YSRCP MLA Roja was arrested today when she attempted to enter the Andhra Pradesh Assembly premises.
It is known that yesterday Roja has been suspended from AP Assembly for 1 year for making derogatory comments against Chief Minister and TDP chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad accepted the motion moved by senior TDP leader Yanamala to suspend Roja for her erratic behavior and usage of unParliamentary language against CM.
After this, Today, Assembly marshals and the police stopped Roja when she tried to enter the Assembly premises. Police arrested her and shifted to the Nampally police station, following a heated argument with the marshals at the Assembly premises.
Later, YSRCP President YS Jagan went to Nampally police station to meet Roja. He also questioned the police about why she was arrested. Following a drop in her sugar levels, she is said to have fainted and hence police immediately shifted her to NIMS hospital.
