Just two days after the announcement of retirement by Indian Cricket Team’s precious fast bowler Zaheer Khan, dashing opener Virender Sehwag has hinted about his retirement from International Cricket, soon.
The other day Sehwag has participated at the launch ceremony of the Masters Champions League 20-20 at Dubai. Only retired cricketers are allowed to play in the event.
Speaking at the event, Sehwag said that he might play in next year’s league 20-20. He added that he will take a call on retirement once he returns to India. At the moment, Sehwag is representing Haryana Ranji team so he is likely to take his decision after fulfilling his commitment.
It is well known that Sehwag has been put aside by selectors for a long time. Apart from his bad form, his attitude also is a major reason for the selectors showing hand to him.
Fans of Viru might be disappointed with this news.
