Again: ED Sent Summons to Shah Rukh Khan

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has once again issued summons to IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner and Bollywood Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan for violating Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) rules.

The Kolkata Knight Riders Sports Pvt Ltd, co-owned by Shah Rukh Khan, actress Juhi Chawla and her husband Jay Mehta, was suspected to have violated FEMA rules by undervaluing its Shares while they were sold to a Mauritius company in 2008.

SRK is said to have sought more time to appear before the ED as he is out of town, shooting for his upcoming Film ‘Dilwale’ in Hyderabad. The ED had earlier sent summons to Shah Rukh Khan in May, this year, in this regard.

 On film front, his new film ‘Dilwale’ is slated for release on 18th December and the unit is currently busy canning the climax part in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. Kajol is reuniting with SRK in this film. Rohit Shetty is the director.
