Tamil star hero Thala Ajith is considered the king of openings as most of his Films have set Day One Records at Kollywood Box Office. Proving that he is still a demigod to millions of fans Worldwide, he has yet again rewritten the Kollywood records with this latest release.
Ajith’s Diwali release ‘Vedalam’ has opened to positive response with earth shattering collections at the box office. Vedalam registered a staggering 15.8 Crore Gross on its first day in Tamil Nadu only. For the starters, this is the highest ever opening day for any Tamil film.
With positive word of mouth, the film is also doing superbly in overseas and other circuits too. With Vedalam, Ajith surpassed previous Day One Record holders Rajnikanth’s ‘Lingaa’ with 12.8 Crore gross and Vijay’s Kaththi’s with 12.5 Crore gross.
Fans of Ajith are celebrating this success. The move is expected to create many records in its full run. Directed by Siva, who earlier directed the matinee idol in ‘Veeram’, has yet again given him a blockbuster.
