We have earlier reported that Tamil star hero Thala Ajith will undergo a surgery for his injured right knee at a private hospital in Chennai on 24th November, two weeks from the release date of his latest blockbuster ‘Vedalam’.
However, much earlier than the scheduled date, the operation is performed. It is said that Ajith had suffered an intolerable pain on 12th November and he was immediately rushed to the hospital.
After examining him, doctors had recommended to Ajith and his family members to prepone the surgery. As Ajith agreed, surgeons operated on his knee right away. The surgery took 6 long hours and it was successful. Doctors assured that the star was doing well and he will be discharged soon.
As per reports, doctors have advised Ajith to rest for at least 6 months. So, the actor will venture into his next Film only in the second half of 2016.
Meanwhile ‘Vedalam’ is breaking records at the Box Office.
