If latest reports are to be believed, Telangana Govt has devised a master plan to erase the existence of late Sr NTR from the state.
The world’s tallest statue of the father of Indian constitution, B.R. Ambedkar is all set to be installed in the city of Hyderabad. Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao has already taken a decision to this effect to commemorate the 125th anniversary of Ambedkar.
A 125 feet statue of Ambedkar was announced to be installed in Hyderabad. KCR has directed the officials to complete the statue within one year so that it can be unveiled on 14th April, 2017. A special committee was constituted to identify a suitable location to install the statue and name the place “Ambedkar Square”.
It is said that the Cabinet Committee has decided to replace NTR gardens with Ambedkar Square. The proposed Ambedkar statue will come up at the place where the NTR gardens exist. Keeping the NTR ghat intact, the place will be modified to be named ‘Ambedkar Square’.
Political Analysts say that KCR is using Ambedkar’s name to erase Sr NTR’s existence from the state.
