“Andhra Prabha” Merges with “Sakshi”

As per latest reports, Sakshi daily will get a huge boost as another noted media house ‘Andhra Prabha’, is merging with it.

The Chairman of the Andhra Prabha Daily, Mutta Gopala krishna, and his son, Sashidhar, will be joining the YSRCP led by YS Jaganmohan Reddy soon. With this, the Andhra Prabha Daily Management will now provide unconditional support to the YSR Congress Party and his Sakshi newspaper.

All Political Parties have got media affiliations directly or indirectly. If TDP has Eenadu and Andhra Jyothy dailies, YSRCP has Sakshi and now Andhra Prabha too joined.

Mutta served as state minister in the Cabinet of Sr NTR. He later joined the Congress Party at the time of YS Rajasekhar Reddy’s reign and was elected as an MLA from Kakinada. In the subsequent elections he was denied the
Congress party ticket so he contested as an independent but lost the poll. After that Mutta has been keeping away from politics.

After a strategic meeting between him and Jagan, he has now decided to join the YSRCP.
