Telugu girl Anjali is known to be a powerhouse performer. She has already proved her acting mettle with few acclaimed roles in Telugu and Tamil Films. Now, she is said to be gearing up to play the most difficult role of her career, as a transgender prostitute.
Anjali has recently been roped in to pair with Malayalam Superstar Mammootty for a film to be directed by National Award winning filmmaker Ram. In this film, Anjali is offered the transgender sex worker role and she has reportedly signed the film. One must needs guts to accept such role and Anjali is game for it.
Playing a prostitute is tough job and playing a third gender prostitute requires heavy physical transformation. After considering many actresses, director Ram is said to have finalized Anjali. He is confident that his heroine will win National Award for this film as the role is the most challenging one.
Meanwhile Anjali is waiting for the release of Balakrishna Nandamuri starrer ‘Dictator’, in which she is essaying the leading lady.
