Anup Rubens is currently one of the hotshot music directors of Telugu cinema. After Devi Sri Prasad and Thaman SS, he is the most wanted music director for Telugu producers. But it seems that the young composer has found competition in the form of Gopi Sunder, the Malayalam music director who recently scored a chartbuster album ‘Bhala Bhale Magadivoy’.
Gopi Sunder has composed music for around 50 Movies in Malayalam. He made his debut in Telugu with ‘Malli Malli Idhi Rani Roju’. First movie itself brought him huge attention. With ‘Bhale Bhale Magadivoy’, he seems to have cemented his position. He is currently composing music for Nagarjuna and Karthi multistarrer Film and has recently signed a film starring Raj Tarun.
Since Telugu Films offer good remuneration compared to Malayalam, he has shifted his focus to Tollywood. At the same time, he doesn’t want to sign whatever the film comes his way but he is heard to be very choosy.
