As per the statistics, Andhra Pradesh is ranked 2nd in the country when it comes to Commercial Sales Tax collection while Telangana managed 9th place.
The measures taken by AP CM Nara Chandrababu Naidu to generate as much revenue as possible to constrict capital city for the state are yielding good results it seems.
Commercial Tax earnings of Andhra Pradesh stood at Rs 28,328 crore whereas Telangana generated revenue of Rs 27,681 crore. Except for Transport Sector, all the other departments in AP generated more revenue through taxes than in Telangana State.
Chandrababu Naidu’s vision is producing these healthy results for the state. Having more business centers like Vizag, Vijayawada, Guntur, Rajahmundry, and Tirupathi is a major advantage for AP while Telangana is relying heavily on Hyderabad.
It is said that TS CM K Chandrasekharar Rao has decided to develop cities like Warangal, Medak and Nalgonda as business centers in the next few years to generate heavy revenues.
