The Nampally court of Hyderabad on Wednesday issued a non-bailable warrant to N. Chandrababu Naidu led Telugu Desam Party leader Vallabhaneni Vamsi.
The ANI reports, the warrant against TDP sitting MLA Vamsi was issued in connection with a 2009 Arms Act case.
Case Background.
Vallabhaneni Vamsi back in 2009 had allegedly refused government security and had hired private personnel.
Police at the time registered a case against Vamshi for having illegal weapons.
As he failed to attend the hearing, the court issued a non-bailable warrant.
General Elections to the 175 Assembly and 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in Andhra Pradesh are scheduled for April 11.
