T Chandra Ganesh, 8, the son of a Hyderabad based auto driver T Dorai Murugan, has reportedly won four Gold Medals and a Bronze Medal, a total of five, in the national-level skating competitions. Stunning part is that he has achieved this remarkable feat within six months of having learnt skating.
According to reports, his coach Prem realized that he had great skating skills and pushed him further. After three months of training, he participated in the 15th national level speed skating open championship in Chennai and won the gold medal in the 6-8 year age group, early January this year.
Next he participated in the 16th national roller relay skating championship at Goa and won three gold medals and a bronze medal, in April this year.
Truly a great achievement, which was unnoticed by many reputed media houses.
