AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu warned a group of Titli cyclone victims that he will crush them with bulldozers if they continue making slogans against TDP and his government.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) chief N. Chandrababu Naidu lost mental firmness and warned the victims of Titli Cyclone in Northern district of Andhra that he will crush them with bulldozers if they continue making slogans against TDP and his government.
Mr. Naidu on Tuesday (16th of October) visited “Titli Cyclone” affected areas in Srikakulam. While he was addressing a gathering in Chinavanka village, a group of victims made anti-TDP slogans and by seeing this Mr. Naidu lost his control and warned them that he will crush them with bulldozers if they continue shouting.
He was quoted saying “stop arguing with me. Shut your mouths and listen to me. I will ruthlessly crush all of you with bulldozers. I have been in politics for 40 years and don’t even try to mess with me.”
Between 4:30 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. IST October 11 (23:00–00:00 UTC October 10–11), Titli made landfall near Palasa, Andhra Pradesh, at peak intensity.
The storm killed at least 15 people and left a couple of others missing, due to heavy flooding and landslides.
