Tamil Actor Simbu’s alleged Beep Song Controversy seems to be not letting him stay in Peace as fresh cases are being filed every now and then.
The actor was supposed to appear before Chennai City police on 11th of this month but he got an extension until 29th January after filing a petition in High Court.
Now the actor has filed a fresh petition in the Madras High Court seeking to dismiss the recent case registered against him in connection with the Beep song. The actor pleaded the Madras High Court to cancel the case registered against him by the Chennai Central Crime branch police following a recent complaint.
Simbu quoted the Supreme Court judgment of not filing more than one case on a person for the same crime. As already a case was registered against him over the beep song controversy by the Coimbatore Race Course police, Simbu requested the Madras High Court to cancel the fresh case filed by the Chennai Central Crime branch police.
Simbu reminding the High Court the rules of Supreme Court surprised everyone.
