Mahesh Babu’s forthcoming family entertainer ‘Brahmotsavam’ has failed to beat the pre-release business record set by Pawan Kalyan’s ‘Sardaar Gabbar Singh’ in Nizam area.
The theatrical rights of the family entertainer were acquired for a staggering Rs 16.20 Cr by Abhishek Pictures. This is the highest amount in Mahesh’s career in Nizam territory but the amount is well short of the Nizam figure of ‘Sardaar’, Rs 20 Cr. Only Baahubali is ahead of ‘Sardaar’ with Rs 23 cr.
Abhishek Pictures had earlier bagged ‘Srimanthudu’ Nizam rights for Rs 14.4 Cr and made good profits after the Film collected a Share of Rs 22 cr in its full run.
The audio of ‘Brahmotsavam’ will be unveiled on May 7th and the film will release on May 20th. Srikanth Addala is the director of ‘Brahmotsavam’. Kajal Aggarwal, Samatha and Pranitha Subhash are playing leading ladies of Mahesh in the family drama.
