It is known that the Centre ruling BJP has been making all the possible efforts to convince Superstar Rajinikanth to extend his support to the Saffron party in the upcoming general Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu.
To lure Rajinikanth, it is said that legendary Superstar of Tamil cinema will be awarded the second highest civilian award of India, Padma Vibhushan. After Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts to woo Rajinikanth during the 2014 polls were unfruitful, the BJP Government is making another such attempt to woo the star who doesn’t fancy such awards.
Rajinikanth is known to be a simple man who doesn’t care for awards but only act in Movies and lead his life for the reward of his fans and people. We have to see how far this Strategy of BJP works? As per latest reports, the union government will make an official announcement about the Padma awardees on the Republic Day, 26th January.
As per reports, Thala Ajith is also being lured by BJP leaders to join the Saffron party.
