It is said that there is huge pressure on Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu from priests to perform yagams like his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao.
It is well known that KCR has recently successfully organized a Yagam at his farm house in Medak district, Telangana. His intention was to yield huge ‘Yagna Phalam’. Of, course he had to spend around Rs 7 Crore for that yagam. But how can cash stripped AP Govt imitate such yagams when there is no proof that it will bring good returns.
According to sources, Kanchipeetham Asthana Siddhanthi and State Government’s agama adviser, Subramanya Siddhanti, is reported to have said given the example of Lord Indra who also constructed his capital Amaravati after performing the Rajyasyamala Sahita KUbera Samputitha Paasupatha Yagam.
Karuparthi Nagamalleswara Rao, the personal astrologer for TDP MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has also advised that the state government should conduct Mahasudharsanam and Rani Chandika Yagam for completing the construction of capital city without any financial hurdle.
Spending money on yagams so that Amaravati doesn’t face financial problems seems a bit out of logic, isn’t it?
