AP CM Chandrababu Naidu responded to JanaSena President Pawan Kalyan’s comments in yet another media conference following the violence that took place in Tuni during the Kapu Aikya Garjana.
Earlier, during his press conference, Pawan Kalyan questioned the failure of TDP government in not deploying enough police forces which could have averted the violent riots caused by protestors.
Responding to this, Chandrababu said that things would have gone out of control if he had deployed additional police forces as people would have criticized him for obstructing the Kapu meeting. Chandrababu added that he asked the police personnel to be patient with the rioters as their action could have sparked an even bigger violent situation.
Chandrababu added that evil forces have been trying to project the government as anti Kapu and he will not spare any criminal involved in the riots.
Chandrababu also gave a fitting counter to the YSRC Party president YS Jagan’s allegations questioning him why his late father YS Rajasekhara Reddy didn’t include Kapu community in BCs even after mentioning it in his election manifesto
