Ace director Rajamouli SS has received summons from the Nampally Court in Hyderabad in connection with a real estate fraud.
The petitioner, Bhubaneswar, a budding Filmmaker, approached the court accusing SS Rajamouli of cheating him by falsely promising to sell his flat in the Photographer’s Colony in 2012. He added that Rajamouli sold it off to another person after making an agreement with him.
The case has been under progress in court since 2012. Rajamouli continued to skip the proceedings of the court. The court has now expressed its displeasure against Rajamouli for not attending the hearings for a long time and summoned him to attend the hearing on 24th February.
Banjara Hills police are instructed to bring Rajamouli to court.
Rajamouli is currently busy with the shooting of second part of his magnum opus ‘Baahubali’. He is also in talks with Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar to make a high Budget Hindi film.
The film-maker was recently awarded Padmasree followed by the recommendation of the Karnataka government.
