Chhota Rajan brought to Delhi, in CBI Custody now

Underworld don Chhota Rajan, who was arrested by Indonesian police on 26th October, was brought to New Delhi from Indonesia on 6th Nov, this morning.

The special aircraft carrying Rajan and a team of CBI officials landed at 5.30 AM at Palam airport from where he was taken to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) headquarters, Delhi, escorted by special commandos and SWAT team.

All routes leading to the CBI headquarters were sealed by Delhi Police. Rajan reached CBI headquarters at 6AM. The security of CBI headquarters, which is normally looked after by the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), is increased.

He has been kept in lockup in CBI headquarters and soon will be taken for medical examination. The mafia don will be presented before CBI magistrate after his medical examination.

The underworld don, who has been absconding from Indian government for over two decades, was arrested by Indonesian police in Bali on 26th October, following a tip-off from the Australian Police.
