It is well known that Surender Reddy will direct Ram Charan in the Telugu remake of super hit Tamil Film ‘Thani Oruvan’.
As per sources, for the past few weeks, Surender Reddy has been working on making few changes for the remake to suit Charan’s image. After coming to know about this, Chiranjeevi is said to have called up him and suggested to not make any changes to ‘Thani Oruvan’ script since the soul will be lost with changes.
Chiru has reportedly advised the director to make the film in the same Fashion as the original. With this, Surender Reddy called of his plan to add commercial elements in the script. Makers are ready to take the calculated risk of not adding any commercial elements to the film.
Arvind Swamy has been roped in to essay the negative role by paying huge Rs 5 Crore. Tamil composer Hiphop Tamizha has been retained for the remake. Ameesh Mishra of Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Phantom fame crank the camera.
Shruthi Haasan will replace Nayanatara as the leading lady.
