Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah, the controversial news maker, has hit the headlines again with his latest act of purchasing a water proof saree with an expense of Rs 1.08 lakh.
The Karnataka CM shopped this saree at the inauguration of the Karnataka silk industries corporation in Davanagere on 19th Jan. The Chief Minister asked for a litre of water to pour on the saree and only after confirming that it really was water proof, he bought it for Rs 1.08 lakh as a gift for his wife Parvathi.
This orange saree he bought was carved from the latest “Threads of Gold” collection of sarees unveiled by the State Government. His act is all over the news.
Just two days back, he was in headlines for slapping the Bellary Municipal Corporation commissioner while attending a reception.
