While Dilwale has won the battle on Day One, Bajirao Mastani has won Second Day battle.
It is known that Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dilwale’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus ‘Bajirao Matsani’ have clashed at the Box Office on 18th Dec, this Friday. After posting Rs 21 Crore on Day One, ‘Dilwale’ has collected nearly Rs 20 crore net on Second Day, taking its two day total to Rs 41 crore nett.
The Film has shown no growth on Saturday, which is not at all good for a SRK film. With minimal drop on day 2, the film is expected to post good numbers on Sunday to make Rs 65 crore nett WEEKEND.
After positive opening day of Rs 12.8 crore, Bajirao Mastani showed good jump on Saturday with collections of close to Rs 15 crore, taking two day total to Rs 28 crore. The film has seen good reviews and that is translating in good footfalls. The clash with Dilwale dented the numbers but three open weeks is expected to be a boon for this historical film.
