When a Film becomes disaster at the Box Office, it is commonly understood that the producers lose some big amount of money. However, here is a film which has got the disaster result from day one but still it might become a profitable project for the makers.
Controversial director Teja’s latest film ‘Hora Hori’ starring debutants was released recently and it is a washout from day one. Despite that this film might bring minor profits to the producers and here is how.
The film was made with a shoestring Budget of Rs 60 lakhs. Teja did not take any remuneration as he is also one of the four makers. Remaining three producers invested Rs 20 lakh each on the flick. Although the revenues from theatricals is negligible, the film could get anywhere around Rs 1 Crore through satellite rights.
So, the film has turned out to be zero loss venture for the makers even after being a disaster.
