Diwali Celebrations At Iconic Niagara Falls For The First Time Ever

Diwali was celebrated at Canada’s iconic Niagara Falls on 14^th October for the first time ever.

While Diwali celebrates on 7^th of November this year, the Celebration at Niagara Falls was held on 14^th of October. 

Diwali, Deepavali or Dipavali, one of the most popular festivals of Hinduism was celebrated at Canada’s iconic Niagara Falls on 14^th October for the first time ever.

The Celebrations included cultural programmes as well as fireworks show. The Diwali Celebrations at Niagara Falls were organised by the Indo-Canadian Arts Council (ICAC) with cooperation from the Niagara Parks Commission.

While Diwali celebrates on 7^th of November this year, the Celebration at Niagara Falls was held on 14^th of October. 

The reason behind it is that the later it gets, the weather for an open-air event of this nature is less friendly.

Diwali signifies the spiritual “victory of light over darkness, good over evil and knowledge over ignorance”.
