As the Assembly elections in Tamil Nadu are fast approaching, a politician has vowed to put Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu in jail if his party comes to power.
Gopalasamy, the founder of Marumalarchi Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (MDMK), also known as Vaiko, while addressing a gathering in Karur at an election meeting, has promised that his party would put Chandrababu in jail for the Seshachalam encounter in which 20 Tamil woodcutters or smugglers were encountered last year.
Vaiko called the encountered members as innocent Tamil coolies, who were branded as smugglers and were encountered.
Already a court case is going on in this regard.
The Tamil smugglers also accounted for many lives of the police guards in the past. Even today, Tamil smugglers continue their tryst in the Seshachalam forests.
