Expansion of Patanjali with Rs 1000 Crore

Famous yoga guru Baba Ramdev has announced his plans of expanding Patanjali Ayurved with a whopping Investment of Rs 1000 Crore. In a media interaction, he said that the group would focus more on exporting its products to foreign counties like United States, United Kingdom etc.

Ramdev also said that he is contemplating to install new production units in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Kerala and Maharashtra. So far, Patanjali group has around 15,000 stores across India.

When asked about how he would raise Rs 1000 Crore funds, Ramdev added that banks have already given Rs 500 Crore loans. Patanjali is also chalking out plans to enter into partnership with Mega Food Park.

In the last Financial Year, the turnover of Patanjali group was Rs 2 Crore and this year, Rs 5 Crore turnover is expected. It may be noted that Patanjali has recently launched Atta Noodles.

It seems that Baba Ramdev is leaving no stone unturned to take Patanjali Ayurved to next level.
