India on Tuesday (11th of April) intensely condemning Pakistan Court’s judgment sentencing former Indian Navy officer Kulbhushan Jadhav to death emphasized the government will do whatever possible to give justice to Jadhav.
In response to the issue, India’s Home Minister Rajnath Singh said in the Lok Sabha, the basic norms of Law and Justice have been violated in Kulbhushan Jadhav ’s case. He said India’s request, basic consular access has been denied to Jadhav several times.
“Pakistan security agencies kidnapped Jadhav, he was presented before media there and shown he was having a valid Indian passport,” the Home minister said.
Home Minister questioned “if a person was having valid Indian passport, how can he be a spy? “.
The Home minister echoing the sentiments of the entire House said the action of the Pakistan is a sinister design.
India’s External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj described the decision of the Pakistani court as a pre-mediated murder and asserted that there is no evidence against Jadhav. She said, Kulbhushan Jadhav was doing business in Iran and was abducted there and handed over to Pakistan.
