Facebook is the most used social platform at the moment. However, in the near future, it would also become a Marketplace to buy and sell things.
As per reports, the social networking giant is currently testing a dedicated buying and selling platform, ‘Local Market’, with the help of Facebook groups. Already, a number of Facebook users recently witnessed this new Feature in their Facebook iPhone app.
‘Local Market’ is said to be a more structured marketplace allowing all Facebook users to buy and sell the items. They can browse through to buy or post things to sell across a variety of categories.
This new section includes both a ‘Buy’ and ‘Sell’ interface, apart from a way to search across the Local Marketplace for particular items. All the available items for sale will be categorized by including photos and prices.
This revolutionary feature is expected to give tough competition to E-commerce giants like E-Bay, Amazon etc.
