As per latest media reports, the loss of life from a WEEKEND ferry disaster in Bangladesh rose to 70 on Monday.
As reports say, the authority search for more bodies by divers at the accident site was called off late Monday morning after the ship was brought to the surface and towed to the shore.
The statement of local government says that they would keep on monitorring the waterway around the site as there were still some missing.
The mishap happened on the Padma River around 40 kilometers northwest of Dhaka.
Up to 140 Travelers were thought to be on the ferry.
