The happiness of local handset maker Ringing Bells launching Freedom 251, the cheapest Smartphone in the world, has not lasted long for Indians.
Mad rush was observed to grab the smartphone as it was priced very meager. But, the “Freedom 251” website continued to give trouble to interested buyers all over the country.
While people have been expressing their dissent ad dissatisfaction at the makers, Income Tax officials have today raided the Noida office of the freedom 251 and collected some key documents. Officers grilled the employees of the company to gather information it is said.
Upon knowing news of IT raid, a huge mob assembled outside company’s office and massive police force was deployed to maintain the calm.
Some experts allege that the company bagged hundreds of crores of free publicity in the Market with this cheap trick.
