Hugely popular Hollywood Television series ‘Game of Thrones’ is set to get its first Indian actor in the form of charming Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh.
The actor has been offered a role by the stunt director of ‘Game of Thrones’, Greg Powell, who also choreographed the two sword fighting sequences in the forthcoming Diwali release ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ starring Neil as Superstar Salman Khan’s younger stepbrother.
Mukesh confirmed this news with media and added that he will play a royal in the ‘Game of Thrones’ series. He also said that he bagged the role after Greg Powell was impressed with his screen presence and performance in the action scenes of ‘Prem Ratan DHan Payo’.
Game of Thrones has huge following in India, with fans creating Bollywood version of mash-up Videos. British-Indian actress Indira Varma had played the role of Ellaria Sands in season 4 and 5 of the series.
Neil will be the first actor of Indian origin to act in this series.
