Andhra Pradesh government’s ’chaotic sand policy’ has put 19.6 lakh workers directly & another one million workers indirectly out of job, Pawan Kalyan said.
JanaSena party chief Pawan Kalyan on 27th of October slammed the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led Andhra Pradesh government for putting around 3 million construction workers out of job and for putting the families of construction workers in a state of misery.
Describing Andhra Pradesh government’s sand policy, a “chaotic”, Mr. Kalyan said, “AP govt due to its ‘chaotic sand policy’ has put 19.6 lakh workers directly & another one million workers indirectly out of job & put their families in a state of misery.
“The suicide of ‘Mr. Naga brahmaji’ reflects the grim situation of construction workers in the state of AP,” Mr. Kalyan said.
He also announced Rs. 1 lakh to the deceased man’s family. “I am announcing Rs. one lakh to the deceased man’s family who had committed suicide. My heartfelt condolences to the family of Naga Brahamaji. May His soul rest in Peace,” Mr. Kalyan said in a statement.
Mr. Kalyan further requested the Narendra Modi led Central Government to look into the issue.
“I appeal to ‘Central Govt’ to look into this and come to the rescue of 3 million plus construction workers,” he said.
