Actress Kajal Aggarwal, who currently has a bunch of Movies in her kitty, is rumored to have been shown the doors by Tamil Superstar Vijay.
It was earlier said that Kajal Aggarwal was recommended by Vijay itself after he was impressed with her during the times of “Jilla”. She was the front runner to play the female lead but her hefty demands for remuneration cost her this Film.
Director Bharatan, who will be directing Vijay in the film, has confirmed that Keerthy Suresh has been finalized to play the leading lady. So, the budding actress will work with Ilayathalapathy Vijay, a step towards real stardom.
Keerthy Suresh started her acting career in the Malayalam film Industry as a child-artiste and turned leading lady with Mohalal’s “Geethanjali”. She earned popularity in Kollywood with her recent release “Rajini Murugan,” starring Sivakarthikeyan.
Coming to the upcoming Vijay starrer, the pre-production works are underway in full swing. The regular shooting will commence in May. The film is currently being referred to as “Vijay 60”. Director Bharathan had earlier directed Vijay in “Azhagiya Tamizh Magan”.
Meanwhile, Vijay has completed his upcoming movie “Theri” and it is set for release in April.
