The Hyderabad High Court has on Thursday struck down the resolution passed in Andhra Pradesh Assembly suspending YSRCP MLA Roja from the House for one year.
An order was passed by the High Court allowing Roja to attend the ongoing Budget Sessions of AP Assembly.
It may be noted that Roja had been suspended earlier from Assembly after she had made objectionable comments against AP Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu. Initially, Roja had moved a petition in the High Court asking for revoke of her suspension. However, High Court didn’t accept her petition.
After Roja had knocked the door of the Supreme Court, the Apex Court directed the issue to the High Court. Hence the High Court accepted the petition of Roja and gave the decision in her favor, after her YCPCP MLA’s argument.
Immediately, Roja delivered the High Court order to the AP Assembly and she was told to come to the House from Friday, tomorrow.
