Here’s What You Need To Know About London Terror Attacks | Seven Killed | 48 Wounded | Central London landmarks
According to reports pertaining to recent terror attacks took place at central London landmarks, at least seven people were killed and 48 wounded. Scotland Yard officers shot dead three suspects in two attacks.
At least 48 injured were being treated in hospitals across London. The assaults that took place at London Bridge and Borough Market come just days ahead of the general election on Thursday.
The first attack was reported at London Bridge when a van swerved off the road into a crowd of pedestrians.
Within minutes, in the second attack at Borough market on the South Bank of the Thames three men wielding knives began attacking passersby, even entering one restaurant to attack night diners.
British Prime Minister Theresa May has called the attack as a potential act of terrorism and attacks as terrible. British opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn also condemned the attacks.
On 22nd last month, 22 people were killed and 116 injured in a suicide bombing at Manchester Arena.
