Here comes the good news for the hardcore fans of hip beauty Ileana D’Cruz. Ileana has been signed to play female lead in ‘Rustom’ starring Bollywood khiladi Akshay Kumar.
Acclaimed Filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, who had directed films like ‘A Wednesday’, ‘Special 26’, ‘Baby’ etc. will produce this project while his assistant Tinu Desai will make his directorial debut.
‘Rustom’ will be 3rd film in the combination of Akshay Kumar and Neeraj Pandey after ‘Special 26’ and ‘Baby’. It is based on the real life incidents happened in 1950s.
Akshay Kumar will be sporting a different look in the film. Another hottie Esha Gupta has been roped in to play a role with negative shades.
Fans of Ileana were frustrated as she has been missing from silver screen for over a year now. None of her films was released in the past one year with her last release ‘Happy Ending’ starring Saif Ali Khan, released on November 14th, 2014 turning out to be a disaster.
Currently Ileana is busy shooting for her biggest project, ‘Kung Fu Yoga’ opposite Jackie Chan.
