How ‘Puli’ dominated ‘Baahubali’ in VFX department?

Tamil star hero Vijay’s upcoming visual effects filled socio fantasy Movie ‘Puli’ is all set to release Worldwide in more than 2500 screens on 1st October. Expectations on this Film are sky high.

RC Kamalkannan, who designed the visual effects for Rajamouli’s Magadheera and Eega, has worked as the VFX Supervisor for this film. He also received the National Film Award for Best Visual Effects Supervisor for Industry hit ‘Magadheera’.

In a recent Interview, Kamalkannan revealed that Puli has more than 2400 VFX shots. Surprisingly, it is more than what VFX extravaganza Baahubali had (2000). In comparison, Eega and Magadheera had 1200 and 1600 respectively.
Kamalkannan added that Puli Features many interesting VFX created characters like the Giant Tortoise, Black Panther, one Eyed Monster etc. He promised that the film will be an out and out visual treat for family Audiences.

Also starring Hansika, Shruthi Haasan, Sridevi, Sudeep in pivotal roles, Puli is directed by Chimbu Devan.
