Superstar Mahesh Babu’s latest Film ‘Brahmotsavam’ is in its initial stages of shooting and we hear that, whopping Rs 13 Crore has been offered for overseas rights of this family entertainer. Since Mahesh is the biggest Telugu star hero in overseas Market, this kind of price is very much natural.
Although the makers have not signed the deal yet, they might pocket this offer as this amount is never heard for any film in overseas till date. Mahesh Babu’s films like Dookudu, Nenokkadine, Aagadu and Srimanthudu have hit million dollar mark in overseas.
His last outing ‘Srimanthudu’ has done remarkable business in overseas by collecting close to 3 million dollars. Brahmotsavam is likely to do much bigger theatrical business in overseas as the film is said to be a perfect family entertainer.
The ensemble cast with likes of Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal, Pranitha Subhash, Sathyaraj, Jayasudha, Naresh etc. looks formidable. Even though director Srikanth Addala has delivered a dud like Mukunda in his last attempt, Mahesh has faith in the script so he didn’t hesitate to sign the film.
