IBM signs MoU with Telangana to provide Cloud Technology in Academia

Telangana Academy for Skill and Knowledge (TASK) and the Tech giant IBM have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for provision of Cloud Computing Technology in the Engineering colleges of Telangana.

The other day, the officials of TASK and IBM India Private Ltd, have signed an MoU in the presence of Information Technology Minister KTR.

Faculty and students of all the engineering colleges in the state will get access to the IBM cloud technology and it will be a great opportunity to develop cloud skills, which is in demand in the IT Industry at present.

The IBM launched Bluemix in 2014 which has rapidly grown to become the largest cloud foundry deployment in the world. This open-standards-based Bluemix platform has more than 120 tools and services in categories of Big Data, mobile, analytics, integration, security etc.

TASK is working for a collaboration platform between the academia of Telangana and the IT Industry to enhance skills and entrepreneurship among young graduates of the state.
