Shikhar Dhawan scored a massive century of 143 runs and broke his dry way of 18 innings. On the other hand, Rohit Sharma too found his rhythm back but got out just before making his century on 95.

The first duo gave a colossal start to India with the humongous partnership of 193 runs. After that, some useful contribution from middle-order batsmen like Rishabh Pant (36) and Vijay Shankar (26) got India to an outstanding total of 358 for 9.

In reply, Austalia lost hopes early with Aaron Finch going out for duck and Shaun Marsh for 2. Then, it was all looking that Australia has lost all their expectations.
