On Friday, the Center submitted before the Supreme Court that all the data on Black Money got from foreign nations, with which India has double taxation avoidance understanding, can’t be unveiled.
The Center said in its application that the foreign nations have objected revealing such data and if such subtle elements are uncovered then no other nation would consent further to such an arrangement with India.
Senior Advocate Ram Jethmalani strongly questioned the stand taken by the Center and said that matter be not heard.
Jathmalani also mentioned that such application ought to have been made by the offenders and not by the government.
