JanaSena Political Affairs Committee member and in-charge of Godavari districts Nagababu on 20th December said “worry and fear are seen than angry among the farmers and Women of the capital city. It is so painful to make farmers who sacrificed their valuable lands for the capital city, to shed tears.

It is not good for the YS Jagan Mohan Reddy led YCP government to dilute the wishes and aspirations of the farmers and the people.

The farmers had given their lands for building the capital city given support from the then ruling Telugu Desam Party and opposition YCP.

Jagan had also agreed when he was in the Opposition, but now he is announcing to change the capital city as it is not fair on his part.

If you have a real commitment to developing the State, it shall develop every district headquarters like Ilyderabad, he said.

Similarly, it shall fulfil all the assurances given to the farmers of the capital city. Unfortunately, the ruling party MLAs terming the farmers who took part in the protest as paid artistes.

A huge number of farmers, Women, Children and youth have come on to the streets and expressed their protest and it means that the government is utterly failed, said Nagababu.

“I assure that JanaSena Party will extend its support until the farmers of the capital city get justice,” he added.

The Janasena Party leaders on Friday visited the farmers who were agitating for the past 6 days after the announcement of chief minister Y S Jaganmohan Reddy hinting at three capital cities.

On the advice of Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan, a team including PAC member Nagababu, party spokespersons and others led by party PAC chairman Nadendla Manohar participated in the tour.

The team toured Yerrabalaem, Mandadam, Velagapudi and Tulluru villages and extended solidarity to the farrners, who are observing relay-fast.

At the outset, they interacted with farrners of Yerrabalem and later visited Mandadam where the team members participated in the Maha Dharna of farmers and Women extending its support.

Nadendla Manohar and Nagababu sat in protest on the road as part of dharna along with the farmers.

They announced that they would extend support until the farmers get justice. Later, the team rnembers reached the relay-fast Deeksha camp at Velagapudi and assured to support them.

They extended support to the “Vanta-Varpu” programme initiated by the farmers at Tulluru and they also participated in the fast camp of farmers at Pedda Parimi village.
