After demonetisation, TDP and BJP attacked JanaSena party chief Pawan Kalyan for the reason that he faulted the demonetisation decision taken by the Central Government and RBI.
A “flip-flop” or “U-turn” is a rapid transformation of opinion by a politician or public figure, from time to time trying to claim that both positions are consistent with each other.
This sort of politics is seemingly getting popular in Andhra Pradesh.
Here’s how!
At the time of ‘demonetisation’ project implementation in India, Andhra Pradesh chief minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) President N. Chandrababu Naidu claimed the credit and praised the Prime Minister of India saying “I felt happy that Narendra Modi had acted on my Letter to him to cancel the Rs. 500 and 1,000 notes.”
Mr. Naidu also took to Twitter and wrote, “TDP has been at the forefront of pushing for this ban on high-value currency notes. This move will change the face of Indian Economy.”
Both TDP and BJP further attacked JanaSena party chief Pawan Kalyan for the reason that he faulted the Central government as well as Reserve Bank Of India (RBI) Governor on demonetisation issue.

But Now..
The same Naidu absurdly changed his voice. Mr. Naidu on Thursday (8th of November) took to twitter and wrote, “2 yrs after #DemonetisationDisaster, the country still hasn’t overcome the economic setback caused by hasty decisions of BJP govt. Implemented in the name of destroying Black Money, Demonetization succeeded in destroying employment, Markets, business, liquidity & economic growth.”
recalliN. Chandrababu Naidu’s flip-flop statements and JanaSena’s stand on demonetisation project, JanaSena Party chief Pawan Kalyan took to Facebook and wrote:
“To,
Hon CM Sri CBN (Chandrababu Naidu) garu, MLC Sri Lokesh garu(Minister for Panchayat Raj),
When people were dying, while waiting in long lines to withdraw their hard earned money at ATMS ; you and your father were hailing BJP and their leaders for demonetisation, while I was slamming their one sided decision.
Who supported BJP? You or us??
Check the links how we slammed BJP.
Two years back, when BJP announced demonetisation, while TDP’s Boss Sri CBN garu, claimed that was his idea to ban notes and YCP also welcomes the decision; it was only JSP which spoke truth and stood firmly against demonetisiation.
Remembering the demonetisation day which killed scores of people.”
He also posted the news links of his statements following demonetisation announcement and asked Chandrababu and his son Lokesh to check as a proof.
