Senior actress Shabana Azmi was firing all cylinders when she talked about top league actresses in Bollywood doing raunchy Item Songs.
Shabana Azmi isn’t the person who minces her words and she firmly objected to the trend of item Songs in commercial Movies. She especially pointed out Kareena Kapoor (without taking her name but naming her item song) and lashed out at the actress for not having the social responsibility towards society.
She pointed out ‘Fevicol Se’ item song from Salman Khan starrer ‘Dabangg 2’ which had ravishing Kareena Kapoor making her first appearance after her marriage, and said that a top heroine singing those vulgar lyrics is a serious issue.
‘When those songs are watched by Children, their minds get affected and leads to terrible crimes’, added the senior actress after launching the Women Of Worth campaign.
