During the election campaign, TRS Supreme K Chandrasekhara Rao announced to bring down Ramoji Film City but now he allotted huge 505 Acres land to build Ramoji Om City.
The other day, Telangana Government sanctioned 505 acres to media baron Ramoji Rao for his dream project ‘Om City’. The given land will cover a huge portion of Hayatnagar mandal in Ranga Reddy district. District Administration has already sent the proposal to Revenue Department for approval. Once the clearance is received from Revenue Department, Telangana Govt. will fix the price of the land offered for Om City.
Said to be the dream project of Ramoji Rao, Om City will be established in 2,000 acres near his Ramoji Film City. It will be home for spiritual theatres, theme park, function halls, hotels and most importantly replicas of 108 Famous Temples of India. The entire project will cost around Rs 3,000 crore and it is estimated to attract as many as 2 lakh visitors per day.
In April this year, Ramoji met KCR and presented the detailed report of ‘Om City’ and got 505 acres land.
