Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmy Party Arvind Kejriwal, yesterday, on 9th of Oct, sacked his Food and Supplies Minister Asim Ahmed Khan on Corruption charges.
Kejriwal addressed a press conference in which he confirmed to have sacked his minister. He declared that he won’t compromise on corruption even if it was his own son.
The Chief Minister of Delhi added that CBI investigation is imposed on Ahmed Khan. Kejriwal took this action against Khan on the basis of few audio clips of a series of sting Operations. Kejriwal has also announced Imran Hussain as the Food and Supplies Minister.
Interestingly, Ahmed Khan is the second minister to be dismissed by AAP chief in the recent times. Law minister Somnath Bharathi was earlier sacked from cabinet after his wife filed physical abuse case on him.
Kejriwal is definitely making it to headlines with his daring decisions albeit he has developed many detractors post becoming CM and neglecting his promises.
